About us

Turkey Tail Tattoo was opened in 2024 by owner and artist Ben Hoteling. Inspired by nature, the shop's namesake is the Turkey Tail mushroom, a fungi valued for it's healing properties. The storefront is located in the Manito/Cannon Hill neighborhood, appropriately surrounded by the notorious flocks of wild turkeys that were re-introduced to Spokane in the 1980’s. 

We are a small studio that specializes in custom artwork. The artists here all share a mutual appreciation for plants, animals, and the natural beauty of the world.  

Please feel welcome to walk in when we are open or give us a call if it's after regular business hours. 

You can book an appointment with a specific artist here on the website. Consultations are free and recommended if you are new client or if just have new idea for your next tattoo. A deposit is required when setting up any working appointment.
